Amy I dont know if it comes across over to USA they way the 3 red clubs (and Spurs) actually run things, Utd & Liverpool help choose the PL Chairman, Masters was 4th choice until those 2 clubs had their say , this meeting from a few yrs ago each has travelled 000s of miles for it sums it up

Well if you get over 50 ex players working in the media quite obv which side the media is going to be on, seen Dacoure getting criticised by said media for celebrating in front of the away fans yet this by TAA at the Etihad was deemed harmless fun by same media
