That's why Karen won't be suitable because she's competent, competency doesn't fit in anywhere near the Trump camp. I always thought Starmer put Mandelson in as he was slimy enough to pander to Trump's ego without letting petty things like honesty and integrity get in the way.

The issue is going to be that the current administration and their supporters are going to use this as an excuse to take the next step towards shutting down any one who disagrees with them. Any progress recently made via the Epstein issue will be lost and MAGA will be boosted.

I hope he can dislodge Ben Sulayem. I seem to remember that when he got elected he "favoured" a lot of smaller and more easily influenced voting groups to make sure there was little chance of him being successfully opposed.
