Huh, I thought it was closed at the moment around the bottom of St Kents. It's my preferred way to get out of East Auckland on the bike because Pak highway is a nightmare.

Mid is exactly the word for it. Samsung have put out a couple of AI adverts for their quantum dot TV tech and it just feels like they couldn't find a director or actors who cared enough to make the adverts. So they shrugged and an exec threw AI at it for an afternoon

I heard a lot of people say inference costs were going to go down. But the loans the top AI companies have now are so monumental that if inference costs decrease all that happens is the CFO might stop walking up in a cold sweat one less night a month. It's unlikely they can pass that savings along.
