8.8 Mb Nanopore only whole genome assembly of Streptomyces! Still needs some polishing, but it looks good (CheckM 100%, 0.6% contamination). TIL that big terminal inverted repeats will make Flye give you a weird output (a graph with 2 contigs, but a single consensus seq)

At least two new genomes to play with from our MedMicro Antibiotic Resistance Safari (in our campus garden)! And one of them has a fun little plasmid. Got complete (CheckM>99%) genomes with nanopore only, debating if I even need to do Illumina on top...
