As a punter, I always find beach balls at gigs pretty sodding annoying. Everyone starts focusing on the beach balls and keeping them in the air, rather than the band you're all here to watch.

I increasingly find myself saying 'oh just fuck off' to the tv/radio before turning the news off. I don't like being wilfully ignorant of the news, but it's often the better option.

It's genuinely nuts to me that Labour are spending so much effort to try and win the vote of people that almost certainly won't vote for them, at the expense of the people who actually did vote for them.

What was it, 2 or 3 days ago that Starmer grumbled about racism creeping into UK politics? I'm so disappointed with this government, and their continual demonisation of immigrants, rather than a constructive conversation of the good and bad of immigration hugely depresses me.
