Yesterday I heard an extract of a book on the radio and knew instantly that it had been written in the 1990s. The reason was that the 90s was when people started saying "Academe" instead of "Academia" for some reason, then after a few years, it went back to normal again.

I said some time ago that there were too many named storms and we'd run out of names and have to start using fantasy names - and now there's Storm Eowyn. A friend suggested we should look to history instead and have Storm Tiglath-Pileser.
