Ireland still in the mix too. Previous World Cup in the US had a huge number of the local Irish attending games (Ireland V Italy was a local derby). In the current environment I can’t see too many of the Irish emigrants wanting to identify themselves by gathering in large numbers.

I bought 20 year old gear off eBay a few years ago to scratch that itch. All old school that I couldn’t afford in my younger days. It’s fun and unless you are very particular on what you want you can pick up some interesting stuff.

Your view of history may be shaped by a fairly narrow range. Also even in World War 2 it was the French who fought on at Dunkirk to allow the Allied retreat. Something that happened while the US was ignoring the war. I say this with no judgement as I’m Irish and we sat that one out.

This is the way forward. I have a season ticket for a club that barely gets 1000 through the door. It’s a great evening and your money makes a difference.

People are wilfully removing their ability to deny that they didn’t know what was happening. A whole section or people will own what happens next. It should stick to them and I hope the sins of the fathers are passed to their children to blight their family name forever. Hatred as entertainment.

I’m a weekend warrior only with a few medium distance trips planned so it’s not the number one concern. But also no point burning cash.

I wonder if you can do a state level free trade agreement with a foreign country. The current tariff situation negated by a state level law. A trading block that contained Canada/EU/California and any other like minded areas would be something else. Sounds legally impossible but so does much of 2025

Even if the judge is released the mission is accomplished. You don’t have to arrest the judges. You just have to make the judges believe they can be arrested. It’s the same logic with the deportation to foreign prisons with no legal process. Create the fear and watch the majority comply.
