On this date in 2016, I was fortunate to enjoy a very special moment with Jim Clark’s 1965 Indianapolis 500-winning Lotus 38 Ford that forever changed me, and the sport I would devote my life to.

I'm proud of this clean pass of a much faster car.

I am tired of my old office and want my own jet so I don't end up sitting in seat 32E.

Here are four images of just another average Ferrari F40 that I found in the parking lot of the supermarket and coffee shop located less than a mile from my home in Laguna Beach, California.

I love cars and I like to capture images of those that are special whenever I see them. Pacific Coast Highway is the only route to and from my home in Laguna Beach, California, and thankfully PCH is a powerful emotional attractor to people who own and drive special cars. More cool cars to come!

This fun experience happened last Friday. Thank you Taro Koki and Jeff Zwart for including me in your fascinating conversation. This particular RACER Creative Drive Podcast will debut in late March to align with the upcoming refresh of RACER Magazine and the 33rd Anniversary of the RACER brand.

Here's my auto-biography from 1970 to now, in the context of the magazine ads for each vehicle I've driven in my daily journey. The older I am, the less I care about image or peformance. Now it's all about versatility, durability and insurability... which sums up my priorities in my remaining laps.

These very special women made RACER Magazine possible. Donna Chamberlain Pfanner was our founding ad director from 1992 to 1993. Celia Shambaugh was ad director from 1994 to 2000. Raelyn Stokes has twice been our ad director from 2001 to 2007, and from 2017 to the present day.

Rapid Allen Berg in his Ralt RT-1 was the primary subject of my 1981 cover illustration for Cal Club's Finish Line Magazine. Forty-years later Allen would visit RACER HQ with his son Alex. Both are racers to the core, and I hope that Alex follows his dad's mighty footsteps into Fomrula 1.

My 60-year quest to become the oldest person on social media began 40 years before there was social media. Here's a shot of an early version of me, rollin' with my Kodak camera at Knott's Berry Farm, surrounded by my posse of my Lincom Elemenary School pals from Whittier, CA.

Behold the evolution of the famous Three Arch Bay Lemonade Stand and accompying signage. This was one of my favorite wattering holes, regrettably it ceased operations in 2012. I wonder what happend to the young and enthusiastic sales team of Sofia, Eden, Lydia and Mia?

I am fortunate to know these two racers. and blessed by their loyal friendship. Both have boundless ambition, and the talent and commitment needed to win in the endurance race called life. They also know how to make me laugh... which is truly priceless. #racers

Thank you Todd Spruell for this fantastic and fun experience 32-years-ago today. I was honored to be your Plan B. Garth Brooks sang the National Anthem and Michael Jackson was the over-the-top half-time show. Oh, the Dallas Cowboys whooped-on the Buffalo Bills 52-17.

In 2011 and 2012, Pfanner Communications was retained by Leo Hindery and Tom Cotter to develop a brand identity and marketing plan for a F1 race to be held at Port Imperial, NJ, with Manhattan as the backdrop. Sadly, Bernie's troubles led to funding falling short. Too bad, it would have been mega!.
