A 7 mile walk to Brandon Marsh nature reserve on Thursday gave me 9 new species for #footit. Final total is 74 species.

5 more miles walked but not productive, Green Woodpecker not showing in usual area, only singing Skylark added to #footit list. Total now 65 species.

Yes it would be useful to get a simple map showing the border, I have looked at OS map and just ended up confused.

Based on your latest #footit total of 93 species covering 94 miles, that gives you an average of 0.98 birds per mile.
I am on 58 species with 13 miles covered, that gives me an average of 4.46 birds per miles, so mathematical if I was not so lazy and walked 94 miles that would put me on 419 species
