Sadly, Judge Patricia Ann Broderick died last night aged 75. I co-wrote her inspirational memoir 'Reinventing the Wheel' which was launched last year at the National Press Club in Washington DC. Senator (retd) Tom Harkin author of the American Disabilities Act penned the foreword. May she RIP.

When capitalism clashes with democracy, the fat cat will always get the cream. Take the money out of politics. Real, ordinary people with no vested interests should be our representatives. Power to the people. Especially in Tooting.

Tesla sales down, USA tourism dropping fast, the rest of the world boycotting anything American. White House ignoring court orders. Checks and balances being dismantled. Stock market collapsed, unemployment rising. How is it so far? I still do not hear of any actions to stop this.

Americans must be proud of their leaders for highjacking a hero. Apparently not wearing a suit is a sign of disrespect. Sadly, I don't see or hear anything from the opposition to rid your fine country of these idiots. Expect to be isolated.

I like the winner of Germany's elections saying it is time Europe stood on its own feet and stop relying on America. Ar the same time we should develop our own phones, search engines and social media. Regretfully, I can't ever see this happening. Too much jaw jaw and no action.

A little bird tells me gestapo tactics have started among government departments in washington dc. Emails fired down from senior management bullying employees to sneak on their colleagues or face undescribed disciplinary action. Here we go.

A day without irritating news is a day to be treasured. I'm enjoying my third day in a row without my tranquility being molested by fascist idiots. I ask myself, why did I waste so much of my life being kept informed. Ignorance is bliss.

It was a wonderful yesterday. No TV, no news, no inaugeration. Not one single hint of its whining voice. I'll repeat that every day for the next four years. Thank you America for giving us this idiot.

I binged watched American Primaeval yesterday. It was exactly as described, brutal with strong overtones of greed and disregard for human life mostly under the guise of protecting religious beliefs. Thankfully, it was only fiction.... or was it?

Watched the Bank of Dave yesterday. I love the underdogs who take on the establishment and beat them at their own game. Heartwarming.

I have no interest in reading, seeing or hearing anything more about a convicted felon and his sychophants in their bid to take over the world. Today, I have deactivated my Facebook and Twitter accounts. As a nobody, it is all I can do.

A sad sight on the way back from my walk this morning. A British family with three boys under ten were having drinks at a cafe terrace. Not a word spoken between them. They were all engrossed in their phones. We seem to have adopted quantity and forgotten quality.

One of my beach options. El Torrecilla in Nerja, Spain.

Why am I doing this? Who cares about my opinions or rants or those of others with nothing better to do. Enough. The sun is shining. I am off for a walk along the beach. I'll leave the phone at home. Maybe, I can chat with someone as we watch the waves kiss the sand. Have a nice day.

By the vast increase in ardent admirers, I can only assume that the sarcastic approach to social media doesn't attract much attention. Should I project a happy more pleasing tone and pretend to be smarmy? Answers on a post card, please.
