I think that the 'new' regime were behind the Frank appointment in the first place - they knew they were getting rid of Levy from mid summer and Vinai was there when they appointed Frank in the summer - I do wonder if Levy wanted to keep Ange but it was the rest of the 'new' board who wanted him out

Not saying I would agree with it, just wonder how long the 'new' ENIC are willing to give him....this is Levy's legacy, mid level players (or too many kids asked to do jobs they're not ready for yet) and another patsy is going to pay the price

Villareal was also horrendous, even Doncaster was garbage as well, in relative terms

I enjoyed those two defeats where we conceded four goals much more enjoyable that any of the rubbish from this season

Couldn't believe he got bombed out after (presumably) something happened at the QPR game in pre season when he got hooked shortly after coming on.... Didn't get another chance and lots of other indiscretions by senior players went unpunished

Considering he worked for the City Group, it's not beyond the realms of possibility....

I was angry at how bad they were. They gave it the biggun after getting battered at ours and I was expecting so much more from them. Their keeper was so bad last night, take away their cheat code pitch and we're putting five past them every time

Thought this was real until I saw the cockerel in the south and the THFC, no chance Levy ever gives us that sort of identity in the ground

Found it quite telling that he seemed very genuine and honest in the sky interview until that question came up and his whole demeanour changed to a five year old who knows they've been caught doing something wrong

Any ideas what the 'other costs' are? Are they significantly higher than other clubs'? Is it linked to the capital investments in the hotel and the high road west projects (and take these out of the equation then we'd be consistently in profit)?

One of the first things he did after leaving was go and hang out at the Qatar foundation.... He then worked for the qataris at PSG and then managed Chelsea.... I love poch but he's not the Messiah .... etc etc

That's the crux. He's going to make himself so wealthy without having speculated ANY of his own money. It's all on the backs of the fans, the club and the people of Tottenham who he wants to cleanse from the area with his property schemes. He is a parasite. And I am a Jewish spurs supporter too.

success of the football team does not matter - it only matters that we stay in the PL and are a destination for tourists to watch football ... The great lie was that the stadium was going to be a game changer for the team - instead it was a game changer for the ENIC investment portfolio

All of this is a moot point, because it suggests that ENIC actually have a plan, and it's not just based on the fact that their entertainment business now makes so much money (and they will soon make so much money from the hotel and property empire they are building around the ground) that the

The club's 'plan' is all well and good, but everyone last year could see we were short at LB, LCB, 6, RW, STx2 and a GK and we've really only brought in two or three players from the 7 that we needed to avoid a similar injury crisis to 23/24. And now we have that injury crisis, but

Yes, but you also need first team ready players to add some steel and experience, some players in the 24-27 bracket so that when they peak the 18 year old kids are 22/23 and have a solid base

Given that these figures are a year out of date now it's likely to be even lower this year for 24/25 given that we have European football, more stadium events and they've trimmed the wage bill of lots of big earners (hojbjerg, Emerson, ndombele, perisic, lo celso) and replaced them with children....

As a Spurs fan, I think you could replicate that headline and the description underneath with 'Tottenham Hotspur' instead of West Ham and it would work just as well...

You can criticise his use of Lankshear, but Moore has been out with a virus for three months and was only available from the bench from the Tamworth game onwards?
