Not much time to switch gears, so I hope they did their homework, got some feelers out for what it will take to sign some guys, and made some pre-draft deals! We'll see!

I predict they won't sign everyone this year. I think they'll draft a few more high upside high schoolers (or college guys with 2+ draft years) that slide and hope that the player will take what the Cubs budget for that pick, possibly in Rounds 3-10 where they'd receive a comp pick if unsigned. Ex:
