Yes! I’m always down to chat about problematic, 1A-violating state laws!

Always happy to touch base about these things! 💙

The First Amendment is my absolute passion.

The Court denied cert this morning.

Seems like an unlikely case—the response highlights that the 230 argument was not developed below so would not be properly before the court here.

If SCOTUS takes a 230 case they probably want it to be a clean vehicle, unlikely to be this one from my POV

Stick around for 10:30 to hear from @paultaske.bsky.social and @aricohn.com say even more brilliant things about current efforts to regulate the Internet! :)

I travel too much not to have pre check. And yet…

It’s what keeps me going — knowing that we will win.

I draw comfort from Kavanaugh saying that *all* the injunctions we’ve gotten so far are correct *and* we should win here.

To be clear, the injunction still *exists* it's just not effective right now.

Briefing is underway to see how the Fifth Circuit will ultimately come out on the question of whether to keep the injunction or not. (Not a huge comfort to folks facing enforcement I'd imagine, just wanted to flag.)

Confused how this squares with the ClassPass decision cited by this opinion…but like…Yippee seems to reach the result CP should have?

I too was distraught when horses stopped being used for regular transportation. Damn that internal combustion engine. 😜

Once again, we quote the incredible declaration from @rahaeli.bsky.social.

My undying affection for her seems paltry compared to her immense contribution to defense of free speech. 💙

Special thanks to @rahaeli.bsky.social for her continued support in challenging this one!

It would at least stop a lot of the awful stuff being proposed at the moment.

Let’s see if it stays!
May 13, 2025 at 1:33 AM
To be fair, I also sent it to you so you could see all the great ways *we* were able to reference your incredible declaration!
