Another full series of cool 1960's Italian comics at auction that I'd love to grab if the shipping alone wasn't well over a hundred dollars.

Send in a pitch for an episode like this, except every stop is just Flash getting his game on. I think that's what your editors are subtly suggesting.

For anyone wondering, that's a snippet of original Tito Marchioro artwork from this comic.

Me and my big naturals, every day, just trying to make sense of the world.

... yeah. I think I'm done with stories where cops are decent human beings. I'm not saying there AREN'T any good cops out there. I'm just saying it's time for them, not just as individuals but as entire departments and police forces, to fucking ACT like it.

...is this series the last time that I will ever write a story where there's a good cop? I kinda... yeah... I kinda think it might be. I've seen FAR too many cops just compliantly going along with ICE, wreaking havoc on society and...

Speaking of STRING, my fantabulous series... I was really thinking about it the other day for a totally different sort of reason. In the story, the main character Yoon teams up with a cop and...

I've got more back at my parents house, but I can't remember which ones, other than Caverns of Thracia... but I can't convince my parents to send them to me.

(I live in Oregon, and they're in Iowa, so it's a bit far for me to jump in the car and go get my stuff)

Kristine la super donna!

Speaking of buying things, I'd love to nab this full set of the Italian Super Women series from 1966, which I just ran across on an auction site, but it's hard to get excited about an auction with a shipping cost of $106.00.

I made a purchase.

One of my fave Eric Stanton covers, because of the great title working in conjunction with Sad Clown Dude, the obligatory "1960's lurking lesbian" and then of course Stanton (who often worked with Steve Ditko) designing Spiderwoman. (her name is on the marquee)

I feel like there's a good number of "just friends!" photos, too.

There's a WIDE spread of cars. Many I can't remember seeing ever before.

Currently slooowly browsing through a large gallery (2000+) of vintage photos of people posing with their cars. SO many neat people / cars.

These are all the same book. The author is Peggy Gaddis.

Just did a bit of book research and these are the first two books that popped up. Works for me. I'll start writing.

Maybe I'll just sit around today and write space adventure stories starring these two. Maybe then I will find peace.
January 19, 2026 at 4:51 PM
Trying to focus on things that make me happy. Here's an original Yokai Family page starring Frankenstein, by Yukio Izumi, and a Space Adventure Cobra page by Buichi Terasawa.

I know the contrast is jacked up a bit in this image, but this George Gross cover still has amazing use of color.
