White South Africans who benefitted from Apartheid have a particular responsibility to own that legacy, to fight against racism and to build a more inclusive future. I am committed to use this platform, my company (The Conduit) and my voice to promote solutions that make our planet more sustainable.

I am thrilled to post my first message. I helped establish South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission. I worked with Desmond Tutu during our democratic transition. We are at a similar moment. Time to rebuild. Time to reconcile. Let’s start by telling each other the truth. Respectfully.
