When Godard made "Contempt" with Brigitte Bardot, the producer wanted "tasteful" nudity, but Godard didn't include any, claiming it didn't add to the story. He was overruled and inserted nude scenes. "Contempt" is my favorite Godard, and Bardot is amazing!
