Avid coder, serial startup starter, and kinda indoorsy. There's a reason we invented plumbing.
There's a significant uptick in the attacks on the EU by American rightwing punditry on Twitter.

"Sweetie, when Mommy asked if you ate the last cookie and you stayed silent while staring at the crumbs on your shirt—would you say that was a voluntary confession or were you feeling unduly pressured by the power dynamic inherent in our snack-time interrogation protocols?"

The Rust Belt's issues started in the 1960s and accelerated in the 1970s. NAFTA started in the mid-90s.

Current US politics:
1. Trump makes a joke.
2. MAGA half-jokes/half-repeats ("Is he being figurative or literal? Let's hedge!")
3. Rest of US dissects the joke as if real.
4. MAGA world argues back. Noise!
5. Trump now compelled to make it happen or lose face.

Repeat ad nauseum.
Trump has posted about Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal today.
