Good was not “fleeing the scene”, you idiot. She was slowly turning away from the murderer, who then shot her in cold blood even though he was in no danger from her car. FIFY.

This country is long overdue for a general strike. Since corporations run the show and they seem fine w Trump and his evil gremlins as long as taxes go down and regulations are dropped, we need to hit them where it hurts. A one week national work stoppage would at least show citizens are fed up

Most old school tattoo artists (RIP Shotsie Gorman) won‘t ink faces, hands or heads below the hairline. Besides what you mentioned, those body areas are still considered career killers in certain disciplines, as they cannot typically be covered by clothing if necessary. Think before you ink…

Pretty sure climate change, microplastics and ultra processed foods will kill me way before tattoo ink gets a chance (full back piece plus sleeves on me, although I haven’t been inked in over 20 yrs and use sunscreen regularly).

Tip of the iceberg. People will always have problems and chatbots that exacerbate those problems to increase time spent on them will ultimately produce negative and irreversible results. Their corporate creators couldn’t care less, in spite of their trite statements.

A less bloody but potentially more effective response would be an 100% trade embargo of the US by the UK/EU. The two represent around 30% of all US trade and would be a significant economic blow to America if extended for a period of time. EU could shift its spending to other EU nations.

The podcast fails to mention 2 specific drivers of polarization. First, the relentless attacks by Russian and Chinese bots throughout the internet world, created to drive us apart through disinfo. Second, the rise of identity politics on both left and right. In the end, it’s WE the people, right?

2 problems: no long term studies of side effects of continuous use; no way to stop using these drugs without gaining all the weight back and more

Louiche Mayorga was the secret weapon of the OG Suicidal. Co wrote most of their memorable early music and helped shape their sound at the start. His current band Luicidal kicks ass the old school way. Killer bass player too.

Original release contained the classic Carbona Not Glue, subsequently removed after a lawsuit from the makers of Carbona Cleaning Fluid. Replaced by Babysitter then Sheena on later versions of Leave Home

Trump doesn’t give a shit about foreign policy. If he did, he wouldn’t have left all of Maduro’s military buddies in place. Nothing has changed for the Venezuelan people. Trump has created a mess that, once again, helps almost no one, in this case only his oil company campaign contributors

Criminally underrated bass player as well as original Stooges guitarist and songwriter. His bass work on Raw Power ties the whole record together

Authors should create an organization that will verify written works are 100% created solely by humans - and sticker them like the old PMRC. Great way to help direct discretionary spending.

Mark The Animal on the bass. He would jump ship soon after this was taken and join Twisted Sister, holding down the low end through the end of the band.

Wasn’t this called The Chinese Connection in the US? Wasn’t the title also used in the US for the film called The Big Boss? Serious confusion…

The ethically responsible horse left the barn years ago. The more vulnerable the user, the better tech bros like it. Unfettered and unregulated - that’s what we have to look forward to. Only hope is state level regulation - if the Supremes allow it…

You can call on AI tech bros to modify these bots to minimize the dangers described here or you could look at the effect they’re already having and decide that they aren’t worth the cost. But no…greed will obscure the truth: people will always have problems and chatbots only create more problems

Considering our current experience with AI (“hallucinations”, incorrect information, bias and black box nature of its construction), self driving labs really don’t make much sense. Plus, I can see AI increasing its role as scientists become comfortable with it. Bad news all around.

Translation: one or all of them need some cash, no one buys records anymore so they need to tour. In this case, none of the individuals has nearly the drawing power of the whole, so they agreed to suck it up and eventually announce some shows.

Seems foolish to spend time and money changing a perfectly fine cover of a novel that almost 4 years old. Wonder what the incentive was?
