Usually I work on NYT crosswords to reset my emotional state between answering 988 calls, so they inhabit a pretty clear (but admittedly unexamined) emotional niche in my life. I’m only a few chapters in, but I absolutely love this book and Natan’s approach to thinking about crosswords.
