This was a radio ad. I missed the beginning. Do they really not get they're being talked down to like a bunch of babbling babies. It sounds like an ad you'd hear in gta.

Gotta love "but i watched a YouTube video" The worst part is I'm pretty sure i know the exact one they watched too.

So i got a system in "for parts". Was so i could extract the mobo and daughterboard to put in another system. It was a failed usb-c install, the person lifted all the friction connectors. Easy fix for me so the person bought it. Wasn't expecting what i found.......

@flimflam69.bsky.social I'm tearing your system a new hole
October 16, 2025 at 8:01 PM
I fixed the issue i thought "how can i get them again" so i recorded it working but showing the chips led which blinks for codes. They didn't fall all the way for it but one of the other installers did. So I'm counting that as a win. Now to clean up the joints and flux.

Doing another shell swap on a switch lite. This time the buttons and shell will all match. This person ordered the lite off ebay, i just took it out and the screen has some good scratches on it. So now to wait for that before i do this -_-

Did this for someone the other day. Meant to share it

Have a video of the port working. It used to trigger the safety mode because of the ground for it. Now it's isolated from the rest of the case. Why did i do this you may ask. To charge my uv light and the light around the macro lens i use to get really close up pics. Just straight 5v.
October 7, 2025 at 5:20 AM
The code is more like guidelines than actual rules
October 7, 2025 at 4:46 AM
Oh ya, heres the port. It's centered with a bit of space all around it thats got resin in it. It sticks out enough for me to use the resin you see to help hold it. Theres a bunch of resin on the back side too. But we can pretend that isnt there

Moment of silence for this tip for the pen thing.
October 7, 2025 at 4:16 AM
It's reattached. I had to hold the pen thing with my mouth and i burned the power connector some. But it's attached. If it was any other ground wire it wouldve been fine, but this wouldve kicked the iron into protection mode and the iron would get stuck.
October 7, 2025 at 4:15 AM
Tinned the wire.
Is it sad it looks better than most of the shit you see on reddit?
October 7, 2025 at 3:53 AM
It's not a normal lighter. Old bit of wire removed
October 7, 2025 at 3:41 AM
@notquiteapex.net i know you'll love this. How im going to reattach the wire.

Putting it back together and
- every screw holding anything down was loose
- theres a missing screw that holds the right speaker together.

The connector is at least still connected. Gonna secure it. Also my ear hurts as the start up noise was really loud. Wanted to make sure i could hear any sound
October 5, 2025 at 9:18 PM
Oh ya, this system here was for a repeat customer. I left them a surprise for when they open the box.
This isnt the lite in the other posts
October 5, 2025 at 8:13 PM
There, all cleaned up. I kept the cables and chip so it's "this is what it should look like". Real you vs the guy she told you not to worry about energy.
October 5, 2025 at 8:09 PM
So that ground point they covered, not even actually attached. Also noticed this on the left speaker.
October 5, 2025 at 7:22 PM
What's funny is the b point is actually decent.
October 5, 2025 at 6:59 PM
They bent the right speaker connector somehow. They left the left Joycon connector open, they didn't fully screw down the left trigger. The right triggers rubber isn't in correctly. The battery and daughter board cable aren't plugged in.
Then I got to the soldering....... Should say "soldering"
