As with everything GOP, there must be a private company (and Trump donor) that will benefit from mass institutionalization. Just like prisons and pharmaceutical companies. Are any real journalists looking into this yet?

We say and wish that, but the most evil person I know personally (who happens to be a miniature version of DJT) is the same age, has survived brain tumor surgery, blindness, and unhealthy lifestyle, etc. and simply refuses to die. Apparently greed gives one super powers and an epic will to live.

Fuck this guy. Kids dead from measles & other avoidable diseases won't be dating or paying taxes. As a parent of a joyful, happy, loving kid w/ ASD, this is offensive. Any parent that would rather their kid be dead than autistic is sick.

Is there a single widely-trusted voice in our culture that can deliver that message + call to action? Hollywood? Nope (see: 2024 election). Athlete? Nope (cuz "Stick to Sports!1!). Media, religious leader, or politician? Don't make me laugh.

The term is just not resonating with the average American. Perhaps b/c they don't feel it yet and there's no follow up "what to do about it" message. Once Joe Six Pack feels the pain, it's already too late to do anything about it.
