This is particularly relevant for LMIC where the costs of PCV vaccines is a major hurdle. But it also reopens the discussion on whether reduced schedules of 1+1 can be considered for infant schedules in the higher valent pneumococcal vaccines now used in many HICs

Contact your GP or local health authority for this. Unfortunately the costs of vaccination (around 200 Eur) are not covered by the health insurance.

Several European countries now offer infant protection against RS illness through maternal vaccination or monoclonal antibodies for newborns. Netherlands will implement as of season 2025/26.
