Kind of? The stupidity of Bush was more "look at this cowboy ass idiot who loves war and bombs" and I think it was my generations first real exposure to the pointless brutality of USA rah rah war machine. That's my read on it at least. Graduated HS in 2003 fwiw.

Admittedly I’m not well versed in that area, I’ll take your word for it. Starlink does seem to have a certain cheapness to the whole endeavor at least what we see.
