Not so much backwards but Red-Right, Tongue-Top seen from the back side of the connector instead of from the connection side

On a more serious note, I'm currently busy replacing all the power poles I've crimped to various wires over the past three years. I had the red and black connectors connected backwards. And that's not a smart move if you really want compatibility... 🤔

I seem to remember it was a few French and German calls. But haven't been listening there for quite a while now... 🙄

I did CB from 1976 so for me there was the benefit that my CB antenna was not that strange anymore. I did buy a 22 channel CB radio that was on the desk while the illegal one was in the drawer. Living on Schiermonnikoog had an additional advantage: it was much quieter on the 22 channels.

Yes, but did the trainer not say "use low beam as high beam will annoy 😳 your fellow road users that are coming towards you"? 😉

On the other hand, there are motorcyclists here who feel the need to use high beams instead of low during the daylight. I give them the same in return. This happens mainly on smaller roads, so they're quick to dim their lights when they get it back. It also seems like this behavior isn't accidental.

Same here for our APK.

Not that I'm aware of. That button is only there to lower the beam when a trailer or caravan is attached. At the highest setting, the beam should provide the desired light pattern.

They're consistently set too high, and often don't produce the desired light pattern. But that doesn't change the fact that LED lights, even when alligned the right way are a nuisance...

I don't know how it is in your area, but a lot of headlights here are simply misaligned. I spoke about this with someone at a vehicle inspection station, and they said that in recent years, it's been rare for a car to arrive with properly adjusted headlights.

Beautiful thing though...
