Random musings, occasional sarcasm, and other stuff I find interesting.
What is the process for getting a group designated as a domestic terrorist organization? Asking for a friend.

I’d rather not.

This doesn’t strike me as the actions of someone who will be living there for only 3 years.

It’s hard for me to care about this. Get the vax. Choose not to? Well, good luck. You get what you get.

How can we be sure it wasn’t an inside job?

OFFS. Concerned? It’s like complaining to the arsonist that you’re a little uncomfortable with the heat.

Banks don’t do themselves any favors by calling it a fee. It’s not a fee. It’s a penalty. It’s intended to be a deterrent so people don’t try to withdraw money they don’t have. It’s similar to a cop giving someone a speeding ticket because they chose to go faster than the posted speed limit.

IMHO, I see two likely scenarios. #1 He’ll say whatever batshit crazy thing to keep enough people distracted from what he really wants to do. #2 The real estate developer in him sees a golden opportunity to buy a distressed waterfront property and redevelop it into luxury seaside condos.

I hope it doesn’t turn out that way. When I make a mistake those are the lessons that stick with me the longest. I doubt I’m unique in that regard. Maybe it’s time for some pain to wake people up. The “I warned you this would happen.” will fall on deaf ears.

Find something to enjoy with each season. Sensible advice. I get outside on as many of the short, sunny days as possible. Otherwise, a hot wood stove, a good book, and a few glasses of port sets me right.

Couldn’t agree more. Those on the far left and the far right seem to care more about maintaining their ideals than working together to get something done. They’re acting like preschoolers squabbling in the back seat. Read a book people. This country was founded on compromise, however imperfect.
