Yes for me this is almost the best type of podcast. Someone who is a specialist shares the depth of their knowledge and enthusiasm on a subject I know nothing about.

Despite it being a redemption story, I always felt everyone implicitly understood that Scrooge will immediately backslide by the fact we still use his name as an insult. Turkey on Christmas, frog legs on Boxing Day.

Yes, it’s probably not always a strict rule, as the linked article says. Though I guess ‘good little puppy’ would follow the order being opinion-size-noun.

Thanks for sharing that. In the example of the ‘big bad wolf’, could ‘bad’ not be seen as ‘purpose’? In the sense that the big bad wolf’s purpose is in being the villain, or bad, in stories. So it would be size-purpose-noun, rather than breaking the order with opinion-size-noun.
