Too mainstream? DC rally was old (more 60-70 than 20-30) (me included) and white (again). Friends and press reports from other cities support this makeup nationally. Why not more young people and POC?

Did anyone writing these stories actually watch Kimmel’s entire bit? The mild Kirk comments were the setup for satire aimed directly at Trump, mocking him (with his own words) for showing a total lack of empathy whatsoever for his “dear friend.” Trump is angry that Kimmel made him look like a fool.

Trump should invite you to give a national address from the White House to do something he is incapable of: exhibit true compassion and make a heartfelt and genuine request to people on both sides to lower the temperature of their political rhetoric.
