Since 1971, @publiccitizen.bsky.social has fought corporate greed to protect people. Global Trade Watch has exposed rigged deals and Trump’s trade ploys for billionaires. And we won't stop now!💥

Instead of creating good jobs and rebuilding U.S. manufacturing, Trump keeps cutting backroom trade deals that reward Big Tech and Wall Street.

Help ensure a renegotiated deal gets better, not worse!

“Free trade” is over, but what comes next is up for debate.

In light of the upcoming USMCA renegotiation, we spent the summer sorting through NAFTA’s real legacy: destabilizing communities on both sides of the U.S. border. Read more here!

Getting rid of NAFTA’s broken legacy won’t be easy and definitely won’t happen by asking foreign leaders to fast-track a golf course in exchange for tariff exemptions.

But that hasn’t stopped Trump from putting 100% tariffs on patented pharmaceutical products starting next week, unless drug companies are building manufacturing plants in the U.S.

🚨NEW MAP: When the administration was creating its global tariff agenda, Big Tech lobbyists made their demands known.

The tech industry urged Trump to target more than 100 laws in 40 countries. On privacy, anti-monopoly, anti-hate speech, and other tech accountability rules.

Globalization’s “winners and losers” story isn’t just history — we’re watching it happen in real time.

@davidjlynch.bsky.social’s piece is a reminder: without real worker protections and global equity, upheaval is inevitable.
pcgtw.bsky.social
Trump’s “emergency” tariffs are not going over well in the courts, so he’s looking into other authorities to impose tariffs, like Section 301.

USTR’s 301 probe is just a Big Tech-backed fig leaf to implement politically motivated trade sanctions.
