Dukes of Hazzard LP has some good stuff... Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and of course that theme, interspersed with dialogue from Boss Hogg. Regret to inform you that Catherine Bach's 'Down Home American Girl' is not so good. Ooof!

I don't know if @dieworkwear.bsky.social knows who on earth Morcambe & Wise are (legendary in the UK) but you gotta say those suits are a delight.
Genuinely had no idea this record existed until two minutes ago but now... I covet.

Enjoying @smithandsniff.bsky.social on Malta @carpervert.bsky.social especially as we're going there for a post Xmas break. I'm keen to check out the abandoned Subaru dealership... the rest of the family? Hmmm not so much :)
Abandoned Subaru Dealership
This garage is frozen in the late 1990s, full of rare and untouched cars and motorcycles.

Can't remember when I first saw this great image *thinks* Holy Shit!

The Tate website has some great context info on the work.

Dunno... but I am getting strong 'haven't seen many movies' vibes from that article. I mean there's no 'correct' answer for best car movie right? But the 2003 Italian Job?! Fuck!

Testify! @carpervert.bsky.social So tired of having unwanted AI forced into every damn thing.

Very pleased with this arrival... @themodernist.bsky.social lavishly illustrated, is there a better smell than new book?

Derek never misses and you should follow even if you don't care for tailoring, because a dedication to craft, knowledge, skills and valuing the people who make stuff matters everywhere.
Always love this excerpt, can't help but think Jeeves lives on in a few places...
Most people are better served in ready-to-wear, not cheap custom. If they do custom tailoring, they would benefit from having someone gently guide them towards better choices, politely saying "no" when necessary. See what Graydon Carter said of his tailor at Anderson & Sheppard.

Has any car ever looked so good? Taut, crisp and what a colour! Also a resounding confirmation that muscular cars need a hefty sidewall of tyre... forget sprayed on rubber bands.
Countach LP 400: the ultimate Lamborghini for me.

Displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in 1973, this is the second prototype and the oldest surviving Countach.

It is utterly reassuring to scan down this playlist saying 'Yes, yes!'
A SPOTIFY PLAYLIST from JF. Over the years a few songs have turned my head. The sound, the sonics, the arrangement, the impact of the ideas involved--these tracks HIT ME harder than songs. Kinda in a timeline, hardly complete-here's some singular songs... open.spotify.com/playlist/75D...

Have you forgotten that an early promise of DVD tech was that you'd create your 'personal' cut of a hit film - selecting camera angles and POV?

It never caught on because people want to be entertained by talented artists and technicians, they don't want another job making something shitty.

My first effort, which i think is hard to beat...
