Me too mate. If I think I can run a fire like other people all day in winter without using 25 logs over the day and 2.5 buckets of coal and it will keep a room at a decent temp that might do some real good. Here's hoping 👍

That does work. On a tiny scale my little group of friends is now here and you hit a critical mass. In the last 24 hrs this is suddenly feeling like its more sustainable and much more pleasant

Yeah probably. It's unscientific but I'm thinking that if the energy was all going to a system it could never properly heat it wasn't putting it into the room. It's all just working. It's even burning much slower. Used fraction of fuel we would b4. Only 2 logs all night. And that's bizarre to me

I'm completely confused @robmcf.bsky.social . Always wondered why other people's log burners made the room scorching and I've accidentally fixed ours and I don't know how. It's 21C in here. It's never been that. Radiators, hot water all scorching. And all on a really gentle simmering fire???
