It was to be expected that the US - as opposed to Trump's statements - would not go all in. The regional risks, the potential for entanglement all played a role. Intervention in Iran is a different compared to removing Maduro. Still, let's hope and do what we can to support the revolution.

Recognizing a Palestinian state has failed: (1) actual progress in Gaza was achieved by pressure from Washington without any state recognition and (2) the rallying mobs in Paris, Toronto, Sydney and London weren’t pacified at all by the recognition move: they wanted more. More blood to be precise.
