How about making coaches honor their contracts and do away with buyouts? Seems a bigger scam than a corporate sponsored game. Iowa State and Kansas State are both losing their coaches, maybe why they're declining bowls. Should North Texas play a bowl game?

I'm sorry the TV networks paying your conferences in billions didn't get you any new microscopes. That's snarky, I admit, but truly the money should be appropriated for the betterment of the entire institution. I'm gonna go order my tickets to the Armed Services Bowl, now.

Same thing. 360° money losing adventure yet they've been doing them for years. High School kids win the honor to march with their band and for what? Nobody makes a dime. My "argument" is its not just sports. But this was a sports thread, no?

There's a lot of kids that never play. Sure the money is better spent but it won't be. I mean, why have parades if that's the way we should look at things.

Who cares? You don't have to watch it or even go to it. Let 'em play if they want to play. They got kids 5 deep from the 25 yard line to the other 25 yard line all suited up for home games. Tell me they can't learn something from playing. CFB been pissing off someone as long as I remember.
