I’ve been having a breakdown that has involved crying in front of others at work and binging the two original seasons of Twin Peaks in 2 days. I’m way too sensitive for this world and dealing with all these folks and my most peopley season is ahead.

Woke up in after dreaming about putting stickers in the windows of my second business location bc I realized I hadn’t been paying personal business property taxes in that second county. Took me 15 waking minutes to convince myself I only have ONE store in reality and have been doing it all right.

It feels like a miracle that I made it through last weekend. Saturday’s event was the most intensely difficult in my 22 years of biz. I have to make it through the next 5 stressful days and then I hope to sit in a creek with a hotdog.

Today I trimmed 50 pots, had an early 1.5 hr taco bfast with my childhood bff, got coffee, held squealing piglets, bought 4 handles of tequila, glazed a kiln load of pottery, measured my tallest sunflower at 13’10” and got offered a cuckoo opp for next Wednesday. I am beyond stressed but today = A+

So exhausted by everything outside of my house. Making things is my grounding force and I’m working at body-damaging levels. Send cheese and dry reds and rental cars for road trips.

Just got home from the grocery store with: one tin of anchovies, one of sardines, a bag of magnesium flakes, magnesium lotion, a bottle of patchouli spray, a bottle of Malbec, and a chocolate cold brew. This is where I am in life.

Woke up from nightmares of having a panic attack at my store while trying unsuccessfully for an hour to create a gift certificate while all my customers left frustrated and neglected. Woke and moved to the couch and my cat came in dragging a koozied beer can in his teeth. Gonna be a long day.

Worked too much today but the kiln is full and firing. Hoping the two new glazes on a few dozen mugs aren’t possessed by demons. Fingers crossed.
