On Christmas Eve I think it's apropos to offer a hearty "Merry Christmas" to everyone. Not everyone celebrates Christmas, but I think everyone can benefit from the warm wishes and good cheer that statement implies.

So Merry Christmas everyone, may your holiday season be bright, merry, and joyous!

Love it or hate it, A.I. is here and it's not going anywhere. Personally, I'm not into the whole "vibe coding" craze, it's more of a supplement to Google. It saves me a ton of time searching for an answer to a question. Thinking on this got me wondering, how do you use A.I. in your daily workflow?

Had a thought about housing in #WorldofWarcraft. I think it would be cool to find your other characters just hanging out chilling in your house. Just acting as background NPCs to add that extra touch of awesome to something that's already pretty cool. *gives @blizzard.com the side eye*

Pro Tip: Your resume should be a living document. Keep it regularly updated even if you're not currently looking for a new opportunity. That way you won't have to spend time trying to remember all the great things you did in your current role.

Been playing #WoW pretty much since day 1, and I feel this new player housing feature is an incredible, but natural, progression for the professions mechanics. I finally feel like crafting professions can actually be useful.

Got access to the #WorldofWarcraft #Midnight beta and been playing with the new player housing feature over the last few days... It went live yesterday, but overall color me impressed! I was not expecting the level of customization that's available and some of the UI elements just make sense! #wow

I got to thinking about D&D and realized that there are skills there that translate well to business. If you think about it, a DM is essentially a project manager where the "project" is the game.

This naturally led me to wondering what else holds professional value far beyond the activity itself?

Today I'm thinking about what I have to be thankful for. Friends, family, my followers here... I'm grateful to you all. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This is a fascinating TED Talk by Yosua Bengio regarding the risks associated with the current trajectory in A.I. research and how to mitigate some of those risks.

I still remember the days of trying to decide if that tiny piece of a bicycle handle bar still counts as a "bicycle" in the captcha prompt. What are your thoughts on captcha falling into the background?

As developers, what is your go-to editing application for writing code? I tried a bunch in my early days of development (even Notepad), but ultimately settled on VS Code for most of my coding needs, and Visual Studio for working with .NET coding. I'm curious, what is your code editing preference?

Fellow developers... just for fun and nostalgia... what was the first programming language you learned? For me it was either HTML or Java depending on if you count HTML as a language. I don't consider myself a Java programmer though, it's been a long time since I coded with it in college. :)

Nerdist presents a list of 7 horror based board games they recommend playing this Halloween. I love board games so I figured I'd share. The only one on the list I've played is "The Night Cage", I highly recommend it unless you're afraid of the dark!

An interesting article on where Vibe Coding fits within the current and future paradigm of software development. Much like any other tool, it has its pros and cons... application security and intellectual property being two major concerns.

If you are new to Fiverr like me don't fall for this scam. Yesterday I was contacted by a "client" who claimed they needed my email to complete their order. They don't... turns out it's a common scam. No real harm done other than a bruising of my ego, but lesson definitely learned!
