It is always a pleasure to go to 100% #vegan cozogrillpdx.com, a food cart in #PDX that serves delicious and satisfying burgers and more. Their comfort food demonstrates convincingly that you don’t have to sacrifice great taste while being kinder to yourself, the other animals, and our 🌎.
On the left is the Reuben, which consists of savory, meaty Field Roast Smoked Tomato Plant-Based Deli Slices, tangy sauerkraut, melty plant-based Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and secret sauce on marbled rye. The mix of meaty, cheesy, and tangy was fantastic.  On the right is the Sizzlin Burger, which consists of a meaty Beyond Meat patty, melty plant-based cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, sautéed mushrooms, pickled jalapeños, and garlic aioli on a fresh bun. They also have a fantastic patty made in-house with black beans, wild rice, and corn that we highly recommend.

The Masa Cookie Dough Thiccflurry was made with creamy oat milk soft serve blended with made-from-scratch masa cookie dough chunks and chocolate chips. It was so creative and had a uniquely delicious mix of sweet and savory flavors.

The Apple Cookie Crisp consists of a snickerdoodle cookie made with organic gluten-free rolled oats, Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 gluten-free flour, and plenty of organic cinnamon, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and warm, tender, sweet cinnamon apple compote.

This is a German Chocolate Ice Cream Cake Slice that consisted of rich chocolate ice cream with ribbons of fudge and delightfully gooey coconut frosting.

This Holiday Feast consisted of: Rosemary Roasted Tofu with Yuzu Black Lentils, Cranberry Compote, and Gravy – deliciously imaginative, intensely satisfying. Salt Roasted Golden Beets – perfectly seasoned and served with tangy preserved lemon cashew cream. Roasted Brussels Sprouts – firm but tender with lively, sweet agave mustard aioli. Candied Sweet Potatoes – sweet and tender with spiced pecans and marshmallows. Miso Glazed Red Kuri Salad – with baby spinach, dried cranberries, and lemon tahini dressing. Fresh and flavorful. Raspberry Cornbread – creative and delicious with sweet and spicy chipotle butter. Butternut Sage Soup – rich, creamy, herby, and comforting with lively chili crisp. This is the Bumbleberry Peach Pie Slice Special. In case you didn’t know, a bumbleberry pie is a mixed berry pie as there is no such berry as a bumbleberry. This deluxe one has a flaky pie crust filled with juicy peaches, marionberries, blueberries, and raspberries with coconut hazelnut streusel topping. It was lovely. The Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich was sold out when we went, but we’ve had it previously and it was great.

Yesterday was a great day to visit all-vegetarian katiportland.com, which has a delicious variety of Thai dishes that are almost all #vegan, because they had a fundraiser for @wildwoodsanctuary.bsky.social and are donating a very generous 40% of sales.

It was served with a savory complementary apéro of tomato, olive, apple, and sausage on toast (lower left). Chili Bean Mac & Cheese consists of rigatoni in a super creamy plant-based cheese sauce with black beans, corn, and tomato. Topped with breadcrumbs and chives. It was hearty, comforting, and satisfying.

The Red Velvet Waffle consists of a fluffy red velvet Belgian waffle with crisp edges topped with green pandan whip topping and horchata tres leches syrup. With a brilliant choice of flavors, this was as delicious as it was creative and beautiful with the colors of the Mexican flag.

The Soon To Be Famous Bowl consists of luscious melty Good Planet Foods cow milk-free cheddar and mozzarella, diced potatoes, roasted corn, scallions, lively, seasoned, crispy, meaty Buddy’s Steaks fried plant-based popcorn chicken, and gravy drizzle, plus Mama Lil’s peppers on a thick sourdough crust that has crispy edges and a light and airy crumb inside.
