This week's #sudoku asks "what if the fog was friendly?"

Here's "Ships in the time" - another timeline #sudoku that continues on from yesterday's puzzle, and leads nicely into my (more complex) time war puzzles

Today, I'm returning to making time travel #sudoku s, with "Times Apart". This one's designed to be a simpler and smoother introduction to the timeline mechanic, combined with a familiar sandwich sums constraint.

It's been a few years, but I've returned to an old board game project, The Odysseys, with the goal of finishing it up and shipping it this year.

As a way of re-introducing the game, I've written about the game's pillars over at pdyxs.substack.com/p/the-pillar...

Alongside "Sunny, with a chance of fog", I've written up a short blog post about how I got the fog effects to work in this #sudoku puzzle (it's a bit mad). This also launches my new substack, where I'll be posting about board game and puzzle design.

Today's #sudoku puzzle is based on a pretty silly idea that I couldn't get out of my head - what if I reversed the direction of dynamic fog, so you were summoning fog instead of clearing it?

The result: "Sunny, with a chance of fog"

I really like the aesthetic of blank clues outside of a #sudoku grid, where all you know is that two different clues are the same. So here's another puzzle that uses that, this time with x-sums and skyscrapers

Today's board game design 🎲✂️ task: I've been wanting to make something about my experiences with Post-Exertional Malaise (PEM) for a while, and I think a board game might be the thing. Today I'm just trying out some mechanics that would represent a 'healthy' state, before I look at complications

Last week I finished making a couple of #sudoku puzzles based on the novella "This is how you lose the time war", which has you charting a time war as you solve the puzzle.

You can find the first puzzle at logic-masters.de/Raetselporta... (which then links to the second)

It's #sudoku time again! This time I've made a puzzle where some clues are wrogn (yes, that's actually what they're called in sudoku land), and you've gotta figure out which ones!

It's a bit tougher than my last puzzle but builds on a lot of the same ideas

Another foggy #sudoku puzzle, this time with whispers.

This time, some cells won't clear at all, and you need to work out where the fog will end up.

Another #sudoku, and my first straight sequel. Little Fillers 2 expands on the first puzzle, mostly by removing numbers

A new #sudoku puzzle - this one's a murder mystery! It's probably my most approachable puzzle yet (especially since you can choose how hard it is)

A new #sudoku puzzle - probably the most approachable one I've made. This one evolves as you solve it in a way that I'm really happy with, slowly easing you into more complex logic as you go.

Another year, another sudoku puzzle. This time I'm tackling the question of how choice might work in a sudoku. It's a bit messy, but I'm really happy with how well a lot of the concepts ended up working.

Another #sudoku #puzzle! This time I've tried combining a couple of constraints (sandwich and little killer), and focused on having a nice solve path. You can give it a go at sudokupad.app/vnbsxmljuc
