I think the Jews have the same rt to natl self determination as anyone else, notwithstanding your objections to its current govt, and while youre entitled to your opinion, historically ppl who have an opportunity for home rule take for the reasons set forth above

I think you are torture ing the analogy, its just an illustration of valuing home rule, same as anyone else does. Nothing in the world guarantees safety but most folks regard home rule as giving you your best shot at it security and that is an important vehicle for mutual support
