Decided just to update when I'm done with a Chapter. So here we are after Ch. 4. Found the very obvious sign posting about one unit funny, but hot damn do they pay you back for the exchange and then some. Otherwise, character/story stuff continues to be really good.

It's been split over a few sessions, but out of Chapter 3. Big bad is finally on the table, and now a whole crock of side missions is open. Will have to work my way through them before doing the Dynazenon main mission.

Also, these new Roboforce (I think) figures are so Brave coded that they feel like a companion to Beastdrive. Them being the main bots, with Beastdrive being the support bots.

Went and got the Gundam unlock along with a bunch of Relic Missions. Currently, there is one Main Mission available in Chapter 3. The overlapping and integration of the various series continues to be on point, making me excited for what is next.

On to Ch. 3, did a few missions, but wasn't feeling into doing much more. Deciding if I grind a bit to get the OG Gundam unlock or skip.

Session 3 consisted of several side missions and picking up the Macross crew. Should be close to moving into Ch. 3, but that will be next time. The only thing kind of bugging me is that most of the secrets at the moment are for things I'm not interested in.

Session 2 netted the G Witch cast, along with Majestic Prince, amongst others. Still enjoying things and really like how interpersonal everything has been. Probably helps that Dynazenon, Getter, and G Gundam are the core group atm. Really curious how the G Witch plot will go from here.

4 and a half hours in and really enjoying SRW Y. Everything is feeling on point, and while there were a lot of missions cracked open coming out of Ch. 1, it didn't feel overwhelming. So far, the Getter team is winning me over the most out of the material I don't have experience with.

Kamen Rider W is in SRW Y with playable W, Accel, and Skull. I am FUCKING SPEECHLESS. I know this team has been pushing for Toku to get rep in SRW as a whole, but I never thought they would seriously put a Rider in.

Overall, the show is fine and sits comfortably in MBTG, but it's not reaching any higher for me, especially when I don't feel like continuing forward.

Relooking and the city background has some of those tell-tell signs. Inconsistent structure between frames and a vaseline-like filter over certain objects. Again, circumstantial and will wait for harder proof.

It's off to the dumpster for me because, for all its spectacle and fan service, I don't particularly care for it. Doesn't help that the majority of the main? cast is an assortment of characters I never cared for in their show, so I'm not very invested in them here. Hopefully, Girls Remix is better.

I have a dream SRW game in the pile of ideas and writings. It's not very big in terms of shows, but the number worked out for the real fun, and it's a dumb idea for a Symphogear stage or two.
