I am waking up my old sewing skills! The diapers need their elastics sinched up just a tad to fit my newest foster girl better.
I'm also working on "socks" and things to protect her legs. ❤️

What a year!
It's actually been a decent one for me and I feel I've done a lot of learning and regrouping. Now I'm ready for 2026!
I also fostered 1 dog and 6 cats. 🥳 I'm so stoked to have helped them, and I hope they're living their best lives as we move into the new year!

What a year!

I think I'll set up an insect haven in the very back of the yard with the finer mulch and whatever twigs I don't use for crafting things. 🐜🪲

I finally was able to catch Cheddar for his neuter! Poor guy knows when he's being corralled and he put up a fight. 😭

I learned a bit about lemongrass today when I harvested one of my 4! 🌱
We get frost here, so I doubt it will survive winter. So I took all the stalks, even the teeny ones since I know I could use those for crafts.
I will have LOTS of lemongrass leaves for tea. So much tea! 💚
