⚠️ Monsal Trail temporarily CLOSED until 1pm today (23 Sept) ...

Due to a couple of large trees falling over the weekend, the #MonsalTrail will be temporarily closed until 1PM so the obstruction can safely be cleared.

⚠️ Tree Works at Millers Dale

From 1-5 September, some essential tree work will be undertaken around #MillersDale Station.

The #MonsalTrail will remain fully open and accessible, but please do adhere to any temporary signage.

Nearby concessionary footpaths may also have diversions in place

Our very own 'mountain blackbirds' - the ring ouzels - are returning to their rocky homes at #Stanage!

These special visitors have travelled from North Africa to spend the summer in the #PeakDistrict!

Look out for signs indicating areas to avoid to allow these birds to raise their families.
