The Tonic cinema was before my time but Ian Luke Sports was there for many years in 70s. Huge store.

The corollary is that those looking to move on could be saving themselves from any potential injury.
A huge % of a functional team is played in the heads of the players. They understand each other’s roles and support each other through effort and positional discipline. MON was the orchestrator.

Pretty much sums up how I felt yesterday afternoon. The power of Celtic as a force for good in your life - absolutely buoyant today!

On your last point, my mate’s son goes to all the away matches in Europe. I said exactly the same thing as he hasn’t celebrated like that since Rome v Nazio.

Take your middle 3 and add on Ella Fitzgerald and Prince

Amongst others!
MON finally getting a tune out of Hatate was something to savour. Best that I’ve felt watching Celtic for a long, long time.

Some really poor batting, especially from England in lower middle order and the question marks over Crawley will continue. However, if he gets going in subsequent tests, it should be more interesting.

That was an absolute fuckin doin.

It wasn’t the match ticket that I was referring to. That’s only a % of the outgoings.

I sat up until 3am. Woke up an hour ago and couldn’t believe that Australia were back in for their 2nd innings.
Feel sorry for the punters who have tickets for Day 3 and 4 and who forked out so much money and for many a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

You can catch the morning session at least. Easiest way is to go into night shift mode but that’s effectively shutdown for 5 days. I hated night shifts when I did them during summer work experience - could never adjust my lifestyle.

7h ahead is a bugger of a time difference, with a 02:00 start. Easier when the matches are on in Melbourne and Sydney. Carnage on the batting sides for both teams.

I suspect Rodgers has been lining up his next oppo and has been hoping to get sacked. Be interesting to see how quickly he gets back into work.
Absolute shitshow

Playing with half a team. The drop off is frightening and the manager isn’t doing himself any favours with his bizarre 1st team selections.
Root and branch change required at the club.

Everyone now agrees we are heading for a global financial crash. It's only a matter of when, and not if. And the sad thing is, if only we'd reformed our tax reliefs on pensions and ISAs we might have avoided this disaster that's now in the making. www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/10...
We could have avoided a crash
This came from an email from The Economist yesterday: Today Gita Gopinath, a former chief economist of the IMF, sounds a warning. In a guest essay for The Economist she argues that America’s bull mark...

She's equally as impressive from this side of the pond as well - I'm a UK citizen in London. Every time I hear @repstansbury.bsky.social being interviewed, she gives me hope that there are still folk out there holding power to account and doing their f*cking job.

Well done Paul. That was a shift and a half going through that governance FUBAR.
As one of the other replies said, pretty essential listening for fans wanting to know what really is going on in their parallel universe.

Of course it’s OTT; it’s a chaotic comedy!
Character development is superb - enjoy the rest of the journey.

It was filmed in and around my area of West London. I wasn’t sure if it was a bit parochial and wouldn’t be recognisable outside its own metropolitan bubble. How wrong I was!
