A warm welcome to my attempt to share my joy of commuting on an ebike. I hope to find the like minded. My YouTube channel is Pedaling Past 60. @pedalingpast60. BTW, the 60 is years old. Not how fast I pedal.
I will say that perhaps the bike lane was been removed after a round about was recently installed. ? I dont remember the dashed stripes im seeing in the crash photo. It had been a solid line. Not alot of details at this time. My head is spinning.

By my own experience, absolutely true. Yet, I never leave without the garmin rear taillight w/ radar. Strobe Headlight and high vis clothing. Ive been using a vis shirt with the message " Full Lane to Pass" Change Lanes to pass. Thats a new law here in Nebraska.

I like that your tires look to have the reflective sidewall too. Stay safe rider!

Had to leave my ebike in the garage today. Icy roads. Had to drive a car. It was awful. The same tomorrow.

I love my very dangerous ebike. I love everything about it. It's carried me and the things I tote for going on 4 years now. Far and away the most dangerous thing about ebikes for would be distracted automobile drivers. My city has an infestation of them.

This may be where I read it? Somewhere I thought gates belt part # was included though—My perfect winter bike has been upgraded – is it better? share.google/kC5r9BaPgrn8...

I think Tom Babin mentioned that in cold climates a belt upgrade may be necessary. The stock belt gets brittle and breaks. Its was a goal to have a winter bike in place with studs. That goal was not met. The snow and ice arrived today. Sad trombone.

It's snowing in Omaha today. My goal for this winter was to a buy a second bike outfitted with studs so that I could have a snow bike on the ready. That hasn't happened. If I switch tires on my only bike –Will studs on dry pavement ruin them prematurely? Would need 26x2.4 and ride them until Spring.
