I feel the fresh eyes things hard dude. I agree it has a lot to do with the stall in the writing habit, cuz stopping and restarting really does trigger the editing itch. But you can do it, I believe in you! Maybe I can finally post My little fic this week.

Would also amend my statement to say you don’t Need to read A lot of books as long as you’re close reading very good ones. And the instinct to write over reading is valuable, don’t second guess things too much.

Nourish the talent my friend! You can do it. You’re a step ahead of me in terms of writing output, I’m about to post my 2nd fic ever at a measly 5000 words, carmeo of course. I wish I was putting out 200,000+ fics like u but it’s rough out here. If you want book recs lemme know.

Quite respectfully, might I suggest a detox lol. You’ll get burnt out at that rate friend. Make sure you’re reading plenty of real life books too! Your writing deserves it. (Sorry i cant escape the fledgling teacher in me)
