Maybe come next year things will be better. In the meantime, I'll continue carving out the tiny niche I have as I move forward. Me for me.

Maybe people aren't happy that I like Bright. Or that I HC him as trans for funsies. Or that I like MiraBri. Or for whatever else. These are things that make ME happy though. This is my niche. And god do I deserve the happiness these days.

It in some ways feels like I don't really 'belong' here. It's honestly tested my resolve. But I also don't want to be held back by the negatives either and want to continue embracing the things I love, for my own sake.

This past year has been full of highs and lows for me. I've met a lot of great and kind people here whom I'm grateful for. At the same time, I've also seen relentless character discourse and have lost mutuals. It has hurt a little.
