It was, after all, him who drove his wife to suicide, and him who drove his daughter out of his home. He probably needs to redo the tub caulking and regrout the tiles. Maybe he should replace the shower head while he’s at it. As if to prove his point, as he stands there, the colour of the water begins to turn, changing from a murky grey to a rusty, disturbing red. It takes what feels like forever to do so, but at last he finds it, flicks it, and… nothing happens. Atlas tries again, but nothing. It takes several long, dread-filled moments for him to realize the exploding lightbulbs must have tripped the breaker. So, he’s wet and naked in the dark with no phone, which means no flashlight, and the breaker is in the basement. Just great.
