Too many Minnesotans feel like the bottom could fall out at any moment. I know what that’s like.

My hardworking single mom relied on public schools, public housing, and Medicaid to get by.

Last night, Temple Israel in Minneapolis was defaced with anti-Semitic hate.

My heart is with the congregants of Temple Israel and our entire Jewish community. Hate has no home in Minnesota, and every house of worship should be a safe place to pray.

Paid family and medical leave. Raising the minimum wage. Free lunches for kids.

They took guts. There were times when the outcome was uncertain. But we organized together - and that's how we won. That’s exactly what I’ll do in the Senate.

Today marks the second anniversary of Hamas’ deadly attacks on Israel on October 7th. My heart & prayers are with all those who have lost family, children and friends in the violence.

We must bring all the hostages home, reach a ceasefire deal, stop the suffering, & start on the path towards peace.

ACA tax credits make it possible for Minnesota's farmers, small business owners, and early retirees to find affordable healthcare.

Republicans are fleeing DC to make sure those credits expire. Democrats like @amyklobuchar.com and @smith.senate.gov are fighting for what's right for Minnesotans. 👩🏼👩🏻

We call it Medical Assistance here in Minnesota.

But whatever you call it, Medicaid funds programs in every state and helps millions of families - like mine coming up - access the care they need. It's worth fighting for.

Maybe you didn't know that either — or maybe you don't know you're even on Medicaid because it's called something else.

This Republican CR ignores skyrocketing healthcare costs and abandons working people. They took NO input from Democrats and refused to negotiate.

The GOP owns this shutdown. In fact, Trump is celebrating it.

Democrats in Congress can't back down - too many Americans are counting on them.

Seeing Ernie a few times a year was always a gift that included a big bear hug and incredible words of encouragement at just the right time--including just this month in Minnesota. I'll treasure those final supportive words he ever spoke to me.

My heart aches for the family of Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr., upon learning of his sudden death.

The tributes pouring in accurately describe him as a longtime fierce advocate for tribal sovereignty. He was also a true feminist who lifted up those around him, especially Native women doing the work.
