Liquid glass is a gif galore ricochet from the 90’s. Have Apple really not learned ANYTHING about basic usability, accessibility, and what have you?! What about your own heritage?! This is what happens when you neglect or fire your UX department, folks.

I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Rotary phones ringing in the dark. Bevelled buttons set in a <frame>. The quick switch circuit boards hidden by the snap lid of a Quadra 600. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to start again.

And no lessons learned.

Met a very late late night train from Stockholm when I was out picking wild raspberries.

These creeping bellflowers are beautiful but weed, and quite invasive. We’re keeping them for now, for the pollinators, but eventually they’ll have to go.

On the road again, and this time on rail, not tarmac 👍
The engine switches direction in Boden, which is what is happening in the picture.

If anyone would like to know how far until rhubarb in Norrbotten, this is the answer. Still sub-zero at night.

I asked Le Chat how it had been instructed to answer questions. Talk about a non-answer designed to fool anyone trained not to think critically.

”If we only get all the data, then we have all the knowledge.”
Anyone who worked with ’Knowledge Management Systems’ in the 90’s know that this is not how it works.

Feeding the machine - the hidden human labour powering AI, by James Muldoon, Mark Graham, and Callum Cant. Thought-provoking.
5/5 stars. 100% recommend.

If it’s fixable with duct tape it isn’t broken. Train 534 enroute to Stockholm.
(The train set is in line for total refurbishment, and, well: whatever works, works.)
