Dr. Rempell asks "How many scans does it take to master POCUS for pediatric skin & soft tissue infections?" in this latest publication.

This study of 3,400+ ultrasounds shows accuracy improves with experience—~29 scans to reach 90% accuracy and ~80 for 95%.

Yesterday was the 9th annual #education day @ChildrensPhila. This hospital wide event showcased health professions, education, platform presentations, and brought educators together to share their work and build collaborations.

Caregivers saw #antibiotics as essential, but access hinged on pharmacy location/hours, availability and getting the first dose in the ED. Findings highlight convenience and back ED policies to send kids home with full antibiotic courses.
