I feel like it also matters at which stage they're copying at. I find myself being way more lenient with beginner artists who copy an art style to learn vs artists with established followings who make money while clearly ripping off someone else's art style...it just feels a bit strange to me

worst thing is I knew it was kera back when they first revealed the game's staff in the special SH:F broadcast wayyy before the game release but I just forgot over time like an idiot 💀 But its cool how recognizeable Kera's monster design style is even in 3d!

although at least it seems like sh1 is getting a remake as well so thats cool

but i think it all boils down to those games being more popular and being more safe choices
