Me neither or to anyone else! The nurse made it clear that what had been done to me involved saws and hammers and that it was completely unsurprisingly that I've been left rather sore. I am healing but it's very slow.

Very true. I was advised to watch a hip op on You Tube to put it into perspective but no thanks. I was informed by the District Nurse that the op is pretty brutal.

I've not had my hearing tested yet. Too many other medical bits and pieces getting sorted. I was going to buy myself a new amp next year but now I'm thinking that hearing aids would be a wiser investment especially as a new amp isn't strictly necessary at the present time.

Thankfully it only bothers me occasionally. I can ignore it most of the time. Far too many loud gigs back in the day so it's my own fault.

I like her although I find the production on her albums problematic for my tinnitus so I play her very rarely.

Unfortunately it's going to be a while before I'm able to work again. My hip is still very sore which is unsurprising considering the trauma it's undergone and I can't see properly until I get cataract surgery which I'm scheduled for early next month. Very frustrating but one day...

I think I've seen one of the film adaptations but I wasn't paying it much attention so I haven't much memory of the characters or the plot. Maybe I'll give him a try sometime.
